Audra Ricketts – Biography
Audra Ricketts left her hometown Victoria, B.C. in 1995, making the epic 1 hour and 35 minute ferry journey over to Vancouver to tackle the world.
Like many young people, she didn’t know what to do with her life. She landed a job in the thriving film industry washing dishes in a catering truck. Sam Elliot kissed her on the lips.
Interested in art and dance since childhood, she got into art school somehow with the aid of her portfolio: one unfinished painting and an old sketch book.
Audra spent the next five years studying art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and continued her education studying acting and has since been type cast as a lesbian.
Struggling in the film and art industries, she did what any artist might do: she sat in her basement drinking wine, drawing rabbit heads and writing out her cynical, angst filled thoughts.
Thus the birth of RabbitRabbit Greeting Cards!
